This minefield is located close to the capital city of Maputo. Clearing this minefield will restore grazing and agricultural land.

Clearing of this minefield was carried out from January 15, 2002 until May 16, 2002. During this time , 11 anti-personnel landmines and 5 un-exploded ordnances were located and destroyed over a total area of 55,625 square meters.
