Steve McCurry

On September 18, 2003 Christy Turlington hosted a reception and silent auction for Adopt-A-Minefield at Visionaire Gallery in New York City.  The auction featured the work of famed photographer, Steve McCurry, whose stunning photographs depict images from Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Laos.  The event drew an eclectic crowd who came to learn more about the landmine crisis and bid on beautiful works of art.  The event raised $20,000 and funded the mine clearance efforts of Afghan Technical Consultants team ATC-07-07 for a period of two months.
